A
- Damage to valves in perforating veins leads to pooling of blood in superficial veins - varicosities
- In the short and long sapheneous veins

A
femoral hernias can occur in the femoral canal which is WITHIN femoral sheath
-performing a femoral nerve block requires knowledge that femoral nerve is NOT WITHIN femoral sheath

A
Baker’s cyst (popliteal cyst)
Abnormal fluid filled sacs in popliteal fossa
Due to herniation of synovial membrane/bursa
Treat by aspiration and cortisone injection
