South west wet monsoon
Airflow from the subtropical high pressure belt get deflected to the right and hits the western coast of Africa, Nigeria
As the air hits the land it can cause very unstable conditions with lots of convective cloud
South east trades become sw
India in July
South west wet monsoon
High pressure of the Indian Ocean gets deflected to the right when it passes the equator and effects the south west coast of india by creating convective clouds in that location

East Asia in July
Same as India and Africa but comes from n Australian high and effects Malaysia/Philippines
N Australia in jan
N Australian n w monsoon
Air from the massive Siberian high get deflected at the equator and head towards n Australia this is helped by the n Australian low also
Ne trades become nw
E Asia and India in jan
Ne dry monsoon
Siberian high sends air over large land masses, not much weather due to travelling over large land masses
Africa in jan
The harmattan is greater and covers more land and therefore making it more dangerous.
ITCZ moves down so does the sub tropical high pressure belt
Polar air outbreak
Cold polar air breaks into lower latitudes that it wouldn’t usual live
Can result in stranded air pools
