What is climate?
Climate describes what the weather is usually like in a place.
How do people know what the places climate is like?
People observe and keep records about the weather for 20 or 30 years before they say what the places climate is.

What are the two parts of climate?
Temperate and rainfall.
What words describe temperature?
Hot,mild and cold.
What words describe rainfall?
Wet,damp and rainy.
What does a yearly average temperature no do?
It does not give you all the info about the temperature in that place. It doesn’t tell how hot the summers are or how cold the winters are.
Where are the hottest places found?
Near the equator.
Where are the coldest places found?
Near the poles.
What is weather?
Weather describes what happens in the air over a period of days. Weather describes day to day conditions.
