What are the key features of molluscs?
They have a soft body, muscular foot used to move around and some have shells. Examples = Slugs, Snails, Octopuses.
What are the key features of Annelids?
They are Worms with bodies divided into rings (segments), they have no legs but do have tiny bristles. Example = Earthworms
What are the key features of Arthropods?
They are invertebrates with jointed legs, their body is divided into segments, their skeleton is on outside of their body and is called an EXOSKELETON, they are the most common kind of animal and there are several different groups within this. Examples = Insects, arachnids, crustaceans, myriapods.
What are the key features of Insects?
They have 6 jointed legs, their bodies are divided into 3 parts and they only have one pair of antennae. Examples = Locust, butterfly, ant

They have 8 jointed legs and don’t have wings or antennae. Examples = Spiders, scorpions.

They have a tough exoskeleton, more than 4 pairs of jointed legs and 2 pairs of antennae . Examples = Lobster, water fleas, woodlice

They have many pairs of jointed legs and one pair of antennae. Examples = Millipedes, centipedes
