What two organs join together to = 2 circulatory system?
Heart and Lungs.
What does the circulatory system do?
It allows food and oxygen to reach every cell in the body and remove all waste.
What does the heart do to collect oxygen?
Pumps blood to the lung.
How’s does the oxygen get from the lung to other body parts?
Lungs pump oxygenated blood to the heart
What happens to the blood once the body parts/organs have used it up?
It’s sent back to the heart to be sent back to the lungs to allow more oxygen and the 2 CS repeats.
What is the heart covered in?
Muscle tissue.
What do valves do?
Help control direction of blood
Heart has how many chambers? And what are they called?
- Left atrium, right atrium and left ventricle and right ventricle.
How’s does blood enter and leave the heart?
Blood enters through the pulmonary vein on the left sides and on the right vena cava, the blood is then forced up to leave through the aorta on the left side and the pulmonary vein on the right side.
