What is chromosome?
A
They are condensed form of DNA . They are thread like so they are hidden from normal view. Each chromosome is made up of DNA that makes many tight coils around supporting proteins.

What is a centromere?
A
It is the middle piece of chromosomes which holds two sister chromatids together. It separates’ a chromosome into two parts or into “arms”.

A
They are replicated strands of DNA

What chromosomes do humans get/
A
Humans get 23 pairs of chromosomes which is usually 22 pairs of genetic chromosomes and 1 set of sex chromosomes. Female and male get different sex chromosomes which determine gender but rest are identical.
