What is eschatology about?
Life, life after death, judgement.
What do Christians believe that God will do to the good and bad?
The good will be rewarded and the bad will be punished.
What is resurrection?
The belief that the body will be raised after the end of the world.
What is immortality of the soul?
The fact that the soul lives on after the death of the body.
What happens at the end of the world?
Jesus will return and declare the end of the world. The dead and living are given resurrection bodies and everyone appears before God for the final judgement.
SOWAA proving resurrection?
‘Christ.. raised from the dead’
What do catholics believe happen after death?
The good christians and good followers of other religions will go to heaven. People who aren’t christian or are bad christians will go to purgatory. Evil people go to hell.
What does the parable of the sheep and the goat say?
It states that those who feed the sick, clothe the naked, welcomed strangers and visited the sick and prison will go to heaven.
Why don’t protestants believe in purgatory?
It isn’t mentioned in the bible.
What does agnostic mean?
They are unsure if God exists or not.
Why is belief in life after death important?
It gives life meaning and purpose.
What do christians who believe in life and death do?
Lead a good christian life and prevent committing sins and repent for old sins.
