What is a sin?
An action that breaks God’s laws that takes someone away from God.
What are the two types of sin?
Personal sin and Original sin.
What is personal sin?
A consequence of someone’s own actions.
What do Many Christians believe will happen to those with unforgiven sins?
They won’t go to heaven.
What does salvation mean?
Being saved from sin.
Why is salvation important?
It is important to have a full relationship with God and to have eternal life with God after death.
What is atonement?
Reconciliation between God and humans.
What is reconciliation?
Bringing together two people who were opposed to each other.
What is a sacrament?
An outward ceremony where God’s grace is given.
What is grace?
God’s gift of strength to be good and holy.
What do Jews believe is the way to receive salvation?
Obeying the 613 laws.
What do Christians believe is the way to receive salvation?
Through Jesus’ death to be more permanent.

What do Roman Catholics, Orthodox and some Anglicans believe is the way to receive salvation?
By leading a christian life

The Eucharist.

By accepting Jesus as lord and saviour.
