Preparation 500 and 501 are used for what?
Stimulating growth
How is preparation 500 made?
Cow manure is packed in a cow horn, buried in the ground in the winter.
When dug up, it is mixed with water, 60g/ha in 34 liters of water.
How does preparation 501 differ from 500.
Ground quartz is mixed with rainwater and packed in a cow horn.
Buried in the spring, dug up in the autumn, and sprayed on the crops.
Describe 502 and its uses.
Yarrow blossoms are placed in a stags bladder, buried, and then dug up and applied to compost.
What flowers are used in 503 and how is it used?
Chamomile flowers are buried and then used on compost.
What is Stinging nettle used in? When is it used?
This is preparation 504, it is applied to low vigor vines.

Oak bark is buried in the skull of a domestic animal (usually a red stag) then applied to compost.
