MRSA Infection
A Staph infection that is methicillin-resistant
Gangrene
Death of tissue caused by loss of blood supply followed by bacterial invasion
Abrasion
Scraping away of skin

Slit or cracklike sore on the skin
Contusion
Injury without a break in skin or bruise (pain, swelling, discoloration)

Inflammatory skin disease redness, blisters, scabs, itching, and noninfectious.
Psoriasis
Red lesions covered with silvery scales
Leukoplakia
White spots or patches on mucous membranes may be precancerous
Candidiasis
Yeast infection (thrush-mouth)
Rosacea
Chronic redness, papules and dilation of blood vessels central area of face
Vitiligo
White patches on skin caused by destruction of melanocytes
Kaposi sarcoma
Cancer starting purple/brown patches, usually associated with AIDS
Albinism
Partial/total lack of melanin in skin, hair and yes (hereditary)
Alopecia
Absence of eyelashes and hair
Pilonidal cyst
Sac of hair and skin debris near tailbone
Keloid
Overgrowth of scar tissue
Cicatrix
Scar of healed wound
Actinic Keratosis
Precancerous skin condition of horny tissue results from excessive sunlight
Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SqCCA)
Malignant growth on surface layer, but can metastasize.
Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)
Malignant tumor from basal layer of epidermis.
Impetigo
Superficial infection by either strep or staph
Herpes
Viral, small blisters in clusters
Tina
Fungal infection of the skin (ringworm and athlete’s foot)
Scabies
Parasitic infection papules are caused by females burrowing eggs into the skin.
Pediculosis
Lic invasion of hair/skin
