Antihistamine
- helps to relieve symptoms of some allergies
- used to treat itchiness, redness, tenderness and irritation caused by hayfever, dermatitis, insect bites, itchy rash of chickenpox etc.

When should you not take chlorphenamine?

If you have taken medicines for depression (MAOis) within the last 14 days

What should you tell your doctor before taking chlorphenamine?

• If you suffer from epilepsy
• have glaucoma
• have enlarged prostrate gland
• Have high blood pressure
• Have heart, liver or kidney disease
• have asthma

• Do not drink alcohol
• Do not take if pregnant or breastfeeding
• May make u dizzy/drowsy so careful when driving
• Contains lactose

Adults and 12+: one tablet every 4-6 hours
6-12: 1/2 tablet every 4-6 hrs
Elderly: contact dr as may need lower dose

• difficulty concentrating/dizziness/blurred vision
• loss of appetite
• low blood pressure
