Liberation of North Korea
A
270,000 Chinese troops cross Yalu river into North Korea on 25th of October. Called the PVA. They were more familiar with the harsh climates and mountains and ravines. They had USSR backing. They despised American interventionism. They pushed UN and ROK back across 38th paralell.

Invasion of South Korea
A
On 1st of January 1951 PVA and KPA crossed the 38th Parallel into South Korea, they captured Seoul and re occupied Inchon.
UN and ROK launched operation killer and operation ripper, retaking Seoul in mid march.
By April PVA and KPA were pushed back across the 38th paralell into NK. Both sides equally strong now so a stalemate developed.
