when presenting with fever and systemic infection as the blood brain barrier is more susceptible to infection
what is the relevance of the renal tract ultrasound?
assesses for structural abnormalities eg, agenesis of the kidneys, vesicouteric reflux
what is the commonest cause of chronic renal failure in children <16
recurrent pyelonephritis
what does E.coli produce which degrades Abx
extended spectrum beta lactamase (ESBL)
E.coli which is an ESBL producer is treated with which broad spectrum abx?
