Atoms can join together to form bigger building blocks called molecules.
How do Compounds form?
Compounds form when the atoms of two or more different elements chemically combine.
What is the different between Compounds and Elements?
The properties of compounds are very different from the properties of the elements they’re made from.
What are used to write formulae?
Chemical symbols and numbers.
What does formula show?
Different elements that make up a compound.
Number of atoms of each element in one molecule.
