Growth
Something increases in size and mass by by increasing the number of cells (e.g making new leaves)
Movement
An action by an organism or part of an organism causing a change of position or place
(Aerobic) respiration
The release of energy in cells by the breakdown of food substances for all life processes.
Reproduction
Production of new organisms
Sensitivity
The ability to be sensitive to and respond to changes in the surroundings
Excretion
The removal of metabolic waste substances produced by chemical reactions in cells (e.g sweating)
Nutrition
The need to take in food for nutrition and energy. Plants make their own food by photosynthesis, animals eat plants or other animals
Control
The ability to control their internal conditions (e.g adjusting your body temperature)
