was prepared by the (DOST), collaboration with the government and other concerned private agencies amd institutions to make certain that all the S&T edeavors are directed toward the realization of economic and social benefits of mankind.
The Harmonized National R&D Agenda (HNRDA) 2017-2022
The (HNRDA) is alligned with AmBisyon Natin 2040 which has three pillars

d. Clean Energy- ALERT Program (Alternative Energy Research Trends)
e. Sustainable Community- SAKLAW Program (Saklolo sa Lawa)
f. Inclusive Nation-building- ATIN program (Ang tinig natin)
National Integrated Basic Research Agenda
The research priorities for this agenda includes diagnostics, drug discovery and development, functional foods, hospital equipment and biomedical devices, information, and communication technology for health, nutrition, etc.
Health research and development agenda
The research priorities for agriculture, aquatic and natural resources include crops, livestock, aquaculture, forestry, etc.
Agriculture Aquatic and Natural resources
The research priorities focus on food and nutrition security , countryside development, competitive industry, delivery of social services, intelligent transport solutions, renewable energy and energy storage solutions, amd human security.
Industry, energy, and emerging technology
Its research priorities are directed toward observation and monitoring networks, technology development and application for monitoring, modelling, and simulation for improvement and monitoring and forecasting, hazards, vulnerability and risk assessment; technology development and application for climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation
The lead agency responsible for the preparation of Harmonized R&D Agenda
Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
agency composed of over four thousand researchers, scientists and experts who are tasked to promote and support basic researches in the country.
National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP)
agency mandated as the national coordinating body for health researches in the country.
Philippine Council for Health Research Development (PCHRD)
the agency that aims to strengthen support in research and development, development of human resource institution, diffusion of information and technology, and development of agency.
Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (PCIEERD)
It is responsible for for relaying messages to people about the existense of danger and what can be done to prevent minimize danger.
Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS)
This agency is responsible for giving typhoon signals, and tsunami alerts to warn people of the things to be done for their safety.
Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA)
