A

Avoid quick sharp turns.
Assess the slope and ground conditions before doing machinery work on slopes.
Consider if worth taking risk of operating on sloping ground.

Q
  1. Describe some features of PTO shaft safety attach and tractor mounted PTO driven machinery?
A

1.Selecting the Correct Hydraulic Controls. Study link arms. Important hydraulic systems control draft, front end attachments and 3 point linkage.

2.Quick Attach system - “Quick attach hooks” on the lift arms. Adjustment on both arms allow for attaching on uneven ground.

  1. Standard lift Assembly -
The left arm (viewed from tractor cab) has an extra adjustmnt fitting which allows it to be shorted or lengthened. This allows you to match up the arm with the connecting pin on implement while attempting to attach it to the tractor.
