Q

Describe Ptolemy’s Model

A

In his model the Earth was in the centre of the universe. The moon, sun and planets orbited the Earth which did not move at all. The universe was surrounded by a sphere called the celestial sphere to which all the stars were attached. The model was accepted for 1500 years.
