An individuals willingness to exert high levels of effort to reach organizational goals conditioned by efforts ability to satisfy some individual need

What is goal setting theory?
The idea that specific goals increase performance and that difficult goals when accepted result in higher performance.
What is 4 drive theory?
Behavior is influenced by our drive to acquire and achieve, bond and belong, learn and defend.
what is equity theory?
compares input output ratio to with co workers. individuals are motivated by fairness.
what is the expectancy theory?
People act a certain way based on the outcome looking good.
