Where is the hypothalamus located?
What hormones does it produce?
Located just above the pituitary.
Hormones:
Oxytocin
Antidiuretic
Where is the anterior pituitary glad located?
What hormones does it produce?
Located just inferior to the hypothalamus. Pituitary hormones: Growth Hormone Prolactin Adrenocorticotropic Gonadotropic Follicle-stimulating hormone Luteinizing
Where is the posterior pituitary located?
What drugs are associated with it?
Posterior pituitary is located posterior to the anterior pituitary, inferior to the hypothalamus.
It does not produce hormones, but rather stores oxytocin and antidiuretic ( hormones produced by the hypothalamus).
