If TGT is above 538°C after shutdown: 4. AIR SOURCE HEAT/START switch - As required. 5. ENGINE IGNITION switch - OFF. 6. Starter button - Press to motor engine for 30 seconds or until TGT TEMP decreases below 538°C.

EPCL - Pull down and advance full forward while maintaining downward pressure, then
adjust to set % RPM R as required

Collective - Adjust to maintain % RPM R
External cargo/stores - Jettison (if required)
Establish single-engine airspeed
If continued flight is not possible:
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
If continued flight is possible
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
DECREASING % RPM R
Collective - Adjust to control % RPM R.
Establish single-engine airspeed.
EPCL- (low % TRQ/TGT TEMP engine) - LOCKOUT. Maintain apx 10% TRQ below other engine
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
INCREASING % RPM R
ENG POWER CONT lever (high % TRQ/
TGT TEMP engine) - Retard.
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
If EPCL doesnt change % RPMR Establish single engine airspeed. Perform EMER ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine). Refer to single-engine failure emergency procedure.

OSCILLATION
Establish single engine airspeed

ENGINE COMPRESSOR STALL
Collective - Reduce.
If condition persists:
ECPL (affected engine)- Retard (TGT TEMP decreases).
3. ECPL (affected engine) - FLY.
If stall condition recurs: Establish single engine airspeed. EMER ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine). Refer to single-engine failure emergency procedure.
#1 OIL FLTR BYPASS OR #2 OIL FLTR BYPASS CAUTION APPEARS
Establish single engine airspeed.
EPCL - Retard.
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
CHIP #1 ENGINE OR CHIP #2 ENGINE, #1
ENGINE OIL PRESS OR #2 ENGINE OIL PRESS, #1 ENGINE OIL TEMP OR #2 ENGINE OIL TEMP CAUTION APPEARS.
Establish single engine airspeed. EPCL (affected engine) - Retard (to reduce torque). EMER ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine). Refer to single engine failure emergency procedure.
ENGINE HIGH-SPEED SHAFT FAILURE
Collective - Adjust. Establish single engine airspeed. EMER ENG SHUTDOWN (affected engine). Do not attempt to restart. Refer to single-engine failure emergency procedure.
LIGHTNING STRIKE
ENG POWER CONT levers - Adjust as
required to control % RPM.
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Tail Rotor EPs

Loss of Tail Rotor Thrust in Cruise Flight
Airspeed - Adjust to 80 KIAS or above.
AUTOROTATE - Maintain airspeed at or
above 80 KIAS.
EPCLs - OFF (during deceleration when intended point of landing is assured).
Loss of Tail Rotor Thrust or TAIL ROTOR
QUADRANT Caution Appears with Loss of Control at Low Airspeed/Hover (Right Rotation)
Collective - Reduce.
EPCLs - OFF (5 to 10 feet above touchdown).
TAIL ROTOR QUADRANT Caution Appears
in Cruise Flight
Collective - Adjust to determine controllability
(Fixed Right or Left).
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
Loss of Control at Low Airspeed/Hover or
TAIL ROTOR QUADRANT Caution Appears (Left Rotation)
EPCLs - Retard to decrease %RPM R below 100% and begin a partial power descent. Collective - Adjust to preserve %RPM R. ENG POWER CONT levers - OFF (5 to 10 feet above touchdown). Collective - Adjust for landing
Pedal Bind/Restriction or Drive With No
Accompanying Caution
Apply pedal force to oppose the drive

TAIL SERVO switch - BACKUP.
BACKUP HYD PUMP switch - ON.
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
MAIN XMSN OIL PRESS or MAIN XMSN OIL
TEMP Caution Appears / XMSN OIL PRESS LOW / XMSN OIL TEMP HIGH.
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE If time permits: Slow to 80 KIAS. EMER APU START. GENERATORS NO. 1 and NO. 2 switches - OFF.
CHIP INPUT MDL LH or RH Caution Appears
Establish single engine airspeed
EPCL - IDLE

ECPLs - OFF. ENG EMER OFF handle - Pull if applicable. FIRE EXTGH switch - MAIN/RESERVE as required. EMER ENG SHUTDOWN - Perform (other engine).
APU Compartment Fire
APU fire T-handle - Pull.
FIRE EXTGH switch - MAIN/RESERVE as
required
Engine Fire In Flight
Establish single engine airspeed. ECPL (affected engine) - OFF. ENG EMER OFF handle - Pull. FIRE EXTGH switch - MAIN/RESERVE as required. LASAP
Electrical Fire In Flight
BATT and GENERATORS switches - OFF.
LASAP
#1 and #2 FUEL FLTR BYPASS Cautions Appear
LASAP
1 or #2 FUEL PRESS Caution Appears
If situation is critical: (if not, non-emergency)
ENG FUEL SYS selector on affected engine -
XFD.
FUEL BOOST PUMP switches - NO. 1 PUMP or NO. 2 PUMP - ON (As
applicable).
LASAP
EMER ENG SHUTDOWN after landing.
1 and #2 FUEL PRESS Cautions Appear
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
EMER ENG SHUTDOWN after landing
1 and #2 Generator Failure
- EMER APU START
Rest ununderlined
LFT or RT PITOT HEAT and MASTER Cautions Appear or Are Flashing.
If LFT or RT PITOT HEAT and MASTER cautions still appear:
Set PITOT HEAT switch as needed.
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
1 and #2 HYD PUMP Cautions Appear
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
#1 or #2 HYD PUMP Caution Appears and BACK-UP PUMP ON Advisory Does Not Appear
Airspeed - Adjust to a comfortable airspeed.
BACKUP HYD PUMP switch - ON.
If BACK-UP PUMP ON advisory still does not
appear:
FPS and BOOST switches - Off (for #2 HYD
PUMP caution).
LASAP
1 or #2 PRI SERVO PRESS Caution Appears
SVO OFF switches - Check both are centered.
If the caution appears with the SVO OFF
switch centered, move the SVO OFF switch to
turn off the malfunctioning servo.
LASAP
#1 RSVR LOW and #1 HYD PUMP Cautions Appear With BACK-UP PUMP ON Advisory Appearing
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If the BACK-UP RSVR LOW caution also appears:
SVO OFF switch - 1ST STG
LASAP
2 RSVR LOW and #2 HYD PUMP Cautions
Appear With BACK-UP PUMP ON Advisory Appearing.
PWR ON Reset Switches-Simultaneously press then release.
LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If BACK-UP RSVR LOW caution also appears:
SVO OFF switch - 2ND STG
Collective Boost Servo Hardover/Power
Piston Failure
BOOST switch - Off
Emergency Landing In Wooded Areas -
Power Off
AUTOROTATE. Decelerate helicopter to stop
all forward speed at treetop level
Collective adjust to maximum before main rotor contacts tree branches.
Ditching - Power Off
AUTOROTATE
FLIGHT CONTROL/MAIN ROTOR SYSTEM
MALFUNCTIONS
LASAP EMER ENG(S) SHUTDOWN after landing
STABILATOR MALFUNCTION - AUTO MODE
FAILURE
Cyclic mounted stabilator slew-up switch -
Adjust if necessary to arrest or prevent nose
down pitch rate.
2. AUTO CONTROL switch - Press ON once
after establishing a comfortable airspeed.
If not regained:
Manually slew stabilator
UNCOMMANDED NOSE DOWN/UP PITCH
ATTITUDE CHANGE
If an uncommanded nose down pitch attitude occurs
Cyclic - Adjust as required
Collective - Maintain or increase.
Cyclic mounted stabilator slew-up switch -
Adjust as required
If an uncommanded nose up pitch attitude occurs:
Cyclic - Adjust as required.
Collective - Reduce as required.
EMERGENCY JETTISONING
EXTERNAL STORES JETTISON
VOLCANO LAUNCHER RACKS JETTISON
CARGO REL or HOOK EMER REL switch
- Press.
If jettisoning of tanks is required: 1. STORES JETTISON switch - Select INBD BOTH, OUTBD BOTH or ALL as ap plicable. 2. JETT switch - Actuate. If primary jettison system does not operate: 3. EMER JETT ALL switch - Actuate.
JETTISON switch - JETTISON
If this fails
EMER JETTISON switch - JETTISON
EMERGENCY RELEASE OF RESCUE HOIST
LOAD
To cut cable from cockpit:
CABLE SHEAR switch - FIRE.
To cut cable from hoist operator’s position:
CABLE CUT switch - FIRE.
BLADE DE-ICE SYSTEM MALFUNCTIONS
If blade de-ice is still on
If vibrations increase:

Loss of NO. 1 or NO. 2 Generator During
