Chapter 8: Flashcards
What are subtractive colours?
When a color is created by white light and objects absorbing some wavelengths.
What are additive colours?
Creating wavelengths instead of manipulating light by absorbing wavelengths.
How many bits for each color?
8.
Explain reasoning for colour triangle
Started out with cube - every color is represented by a vector just at different shadings. Therefore they all pass through a triangle.
What is (r,g,I)
Normalized red intensity, normalized green intensity and the overall pixel intensity.
What is hue?
Dominant wavelength
What is saturation?
Color pureness - howmuch whitelight ismixedin with the color.
Whatis color tresholding?
Selecting pixels that satisfy certain color thresholds.
Another word for green screning?
Chroma-keying
