What is a base of support?

What is the Institute for Healthcare Improvement(IHI)?
a non-profit organization with the goal of reducing fatalities in health care institutions
What is a line of gravity?
an imaginary vertical line that passes through the center of gravity
What is nitrile?
a material used for gloves that is impervious to many hazardous chemicals
What is a Material Safety Data Sheet(MSDS)?
document that indicates the required equipment and procedure for safe handling of a spill (different ones for different chemicals)
What is the Occupational Safety and Health Administration(OSHA)?
a federal agency that governs safety in the workplace
What is spontaneous combustion?
a type of fire that occurs when a chemical reaction causes sufficient heat near a flammable material to generate a fire
What 3 components must be present for a fire to burn?
- a flammable substance (fuel)
- oxygen
- heat / an ignition source
What does RACE mean in terms of fire response?
