what were the targets set for the 37 industrialised countries and the European Community?

A
  • to reduce emissions of the 4 greenhouse gases (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide + sulphur hexafluoride)
  • the countries agreed to reduce their greenhouse emissions to at least 55% below 1990 levels (emissions from air travel + international shipping not included )
