A fake version of a drug

What is blind and double blind testing?
A
Blind testing: patient doesn’t know if they’ve had the placebo or real drug
Double blind testing: doctor administer also doesn’t know if they’re given the placebo or real drug

Why do we test drugs?
A
To make sure they are effective and not harmful

A
Computer modelling –> cell and tissue cultures –> animal testing –> human trials
