RAISD
Reinforcer Assessment for Individuals with Severe Disabilities
SINGLE STIMULUS PREFERENCE ASSESSMENT
Used for individuals who will not make a choice when given more than one option. Each trial includes one stimulus, and engagement is assessed.
PAIRED-STIMULUS PREFERENCE ASSESSMENT
Each stimulus presented is paired with every other stimulus being assessed, and the subject chooses from each pairing.
MULTIPLE STIMULI WITHOUT REPLACEMENT PREFERENCE ASSESSMENT
Subject chooses from array of three or more items. Each choice is then eliminated and in the subsequent rounds the subject chooses from the remaining stimuli.
FREE OPERANT PREFERENCE ASSESSMENT
Stimuli are placed on a table and subject is given unrestricted access to all items for a designated period. Assessor monitors level all of engagement per item.
