  • health care is paid for if you fall into the law income bracket, but even then it is very limited. The rest have to pay premium health care insurance that comes with its own set of problems.
  • they prefer this style of health care, don’t want to be a communism country.
  • founded from 13 colonies, each state has its own constituation

both federal and provincial gov. collect taxes. Federal gov. redistributes some of the taxes it collects to the provinces to cover costs of social programs.

Sales tax- based on what you spend your money on, more money you spend more you pay
