Logging types
A
Wireline logging - Measuring tools lowered on a high tension electrical cable. Signals sent are affected by density, porosity, permeability.
Electric Logging - Measures electrical current within a formation. Spontaneous Potential measures electric potential developed naturally in rock. Resistivity Log measures formations resistivities.
Nuclear Logging. Natural Gamma ray log measures naturally occurring gamma rays emitted by materials.
Gamme density log emits gamma rays.
Sonic Logging based on acoustic energy. Most Accurate.
