Chapter 7 Flashcards

1
Q

From a Christian perspective, critique analytic philosophy

A

The biggest issue with analytic philosophy is it focuses only on sensory learning. It does not allow for the divine revelation that we receive from God’s Word. As a Christian, the Bible is our foundation for all knowledge. If we rely only on our sensory knowledge, we will be led astray. However, a Christin can use the methods of analyzing and synthesizing to build a Christian philosophy. It would be good for a Christian to clarify the meanings of the language used.
