Does not intentionally expose any participants to an intervention or ask any participants to change their behaviors
What is the experimental study?
assigns participants to receive a particular exposure
What is descriptive epidemiology?
quantify how often various health-related exposures and outcomes occur in a population
What is analytic epidemiology?
Identify risk factors for various adverse health outcomes or to test the effectiveness of interventions intended to improves health status
