A
Remains of organisms that lived long ago that have been found preserved in rock, ice or other substances.

Describe the 4 types of fossil
A
Parts of the animal that do not decay easily (bone), animals that have not decayed due to where they fell, when an animal decays and leaves a hollow which is filled with a harder substance, traces that animals left behind (burrows or footprints).
