Shaken infant syndrome
“frustrated parents can cause head injury to baby; shaken infants suffer permanent neujrological damagte, seizure disorders, blindness and deafness. Visible symptoms include lethardy, crying vomiting loss of appetite and seizures. “
Emotional development in infancy
“Fear is one of the emotions that develops during the first year of life. at 5-6 months, stranger anxiety. Shy babies grow up to be shy children
Language Development
“Milestones for speech and language- 2-3 (months) coos, 3-6 babbles, 9-17 mama and dada, 12-15 uses many words, 20-24 two and three word sentences, 24 own name”
