Develop objective-based professional development plans for the department
and the employees
An organization’s goals set out its overall aim or purpose and are
communicated in the mission statement. An organization’s objectives state what it
needs to accomplish in order to reach these goals. The objectives should be written so that they can be developed into action items which form the organization’s long-term strategic plan.
