Responding officers could catch suspects, collect evidence or deal with situations before they escalate

The time elapsed between a citizens cal to police and the arrival of the police at the scene of the incident
Arrest rates
When police make more arrests there would’ve fewer criminals on the street
Preliminary investigations
Collect information where the criminal incident occurred and write up incident reports about what happened
Mayonnaise theory of police patrol
The amount of police patrols is similar to the amount of mayonnaise required to make a sandwich

Greater interaction with the community
