As an adjective, referring to something that is dependent on or takes place in a persons mind and thus cannot be directly observed
Syndrome
Not a precise disease but a group of related signs and symptoms

Medications or procedures used to control or cure a disease or injury

The study of the functions (and how they work) of an organism
