Christianity was adopted into the Roman Empire when Constantine a roman emperor converted to Christianity. Monasticism became a practice that was not biblical but was followed by many. Corruption also started to happen as well when people in the government wanted to control the church. Q

Discuss which aspects of the Roman Empire were positive and should be imitated and which were negative and should not be repeated.

A

One thing that is a good aspect of the Roman Empire was how Christianity was spread at the beginning of the church era in that time. Another aspect of the roam an empire that was good was how they all had the relatively same language. The same language should be imitated today is is so some what with the English language. The colosseum and some of the cruel amusements that were performed there should not be imitated in today’s world. Another thing that should not be imitated was the monarchy and dictatorships that some of the emperors had in the Roman Empire.
