Gives all power to the government, sometimes the create state government

Ruled by a few people
What is democracy and where did it come from?
Rule by the people it is by the Greek “Demos” “Kratia”
What is direct democracy?
It is non existent and people decide by voting
What is a representative democracy? And who has one?
The U.S. has one and it is where we elect people to represent us with limited terms
What is mixed economics and what is the goal?
Is is where the governments supports and regulates free enterprise and the goal is to keep completion fair and have free entry.
What is command economy?
It is where the government owns or directs the means of production and controls the distribution of goods;or if it looks good on paper, and has been bad on practice so far
What are the three main goals of Socialism and Communism?
- Equal distribution of wealth and economic opportunity
- Society’s control,through the government, of all, Major decisions about production

What is communism?
When a government controls all aspects of a market then the consumers will not be innovative or products people will want as a result the choices and economics will stagnate
What are the barriers to trade?
It is when the government adds taxes on imported goods and quotas on how many goods can be imported. They also place embargoes banning goods from other countries as punishment

No barriers to trade
