It was an agreement or written plan for the government that was written by the pilgrims on the Mayflower prior to arriving in America
What did the Colonists want from the King when they met at the First Continental Congress?
They wanted the King to return the rights of the colonies and to give them representation as well as reduction of the taxes
What did England want to happen as a result of the Intolerable Acts (Coercive Acts)?
They wanted to punish the colonists in Massachusetts and mostly those in boston for their protests
What did the Tea Act do?
The colonists could only buy their tea from the East India Tea Company which had much more higher prices

They had the Boston Tea Party and dumped all of the tea over the boats and into the water

The colonists had to provide food and shelter to the British Troops
