How did missionaries affect American indians in New Spain?
They introduced European ways of doing work with new animals and crops,
they forced them into Catholic religion, and they made them do a lot of work
Why was the Mayflower Compact such an important document?
It demonstrated self-government in that all people who signed the document could make and obey laws for the good of the community
