What is a race track layout?
features a traffic aisle that loops around the store perimeter
What is a soft aisle layout?
fixtures are arranged into groups (sometimes with a 5-foot aisle along merchandised wall sections)
What is the minimal layout?
almost gallery-like (very simplistic)
What are the principles of universal design?
1- relates to “equitable use” and says design should be useful and marketable to people with diverse abilities
2-design elements and furnishings of an appropriate size and space for approach, reach, manipulation and use regardless of a persons size, posture or mobility
