Chapter 3.5 Flashcards
1
Q
What is Vesicular Transport?
A
processes that move large particles, fluid droplets or numerous molecules at once though the membrane in Vesicles: bubble-like enclosures of membrane
2
Q
Define Endocytosis
A
vesicular processes that bring material into the cell
Phagocytosis - “cell eating” engulfing large particles
Pinocytosis - “cell drinking” taking in droplets of ECF containing molecules useful in the cell
