Contrast urbanisation and counter urbanisation.
Urbanisation has most places linked to industry and has its industries like factories grow as the population does due to job seeking and better quality of life. Counter urbanisation is different, as instead of moving to urban areas, people tend to move to rural areas due to declining jobs, polluted air, crowded housing and fear of safety.
What is suburbanisation and why did it happen?
Suburbanisation is when people move out of the city for suburbs often because of the city being overpopulated and the air is clean. Also, the land is cheaper by the edge of the city.
How did suburbanisation affect where people lived?
This affects people greatly as they have to move out for better or cheaper housing as well as having to move away from jobs. Or simply due to the pollution in the air, people couldn’t handle it.
Why did counter urbanisation happen?
Because people could be looking for better employment, cleaner air in the atmosphere, housing that isn’t crowded together and maybe to go somewhere safe from danger in the city, like gangs.
What is re urbanisation and why does it happen?
When people move to back to urban parts of the city due to the government opening those areas up after being abandoned or reconstructed/rebuilt for improving the city.
How moves back to urban areas in re urbanisation?
People with enough wealth to move into urban areas as well as have a job there with specific skills required from them are how they are able to move to urban areas.
What is the difference between comercial, industrial and residential land in urban areas?
Comercial - offers office jobs, marketing and services. Mainly business based.
Industrial - often primary and secondary jobs, such as factories and warehouses.
Residential - based on properties and infrastructures as well as housing from late 19th century to modern day estates.

How does accessibility affect the land use?
The amount of accessibility there is to the land is what affects the planning for it as well as how much can be obtained.
How does planning affect land use?
Planning is essential as it determines how much is available and how much is required to lay the foundation of the infrastructure.
How does availability and cost affect land use?
Availability is dependent on the cost through the value of the land and its taxes for the use of the land in the city. Its cost affects how much can be available for an infrastructure to be built.
