John 15:12

John 13:13-15
The words “A new command I give you” found in the book of John are the same as what words found in the synoptic gospels?
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you.”
“Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one loaf, we, who are many, are one body, for we all share the one loaf.”
1 Corinthians 10:16-17
People insist that Jesus did not celebrate the Last Supper on the Day of the Passover but rather on the day before. Why is this insistence wrong?
In Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus clearly said to his disciples “Prepare the Passover” or “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you…”
People insist that it was on the day of the Passover that Jesus was hung on the cross, saying he must be crucified on the day when the Passover Lamb was to be sacrificed. What 2 things does this prove these people have no idea? Explain why their insistence is wrong.
They neither know the Feasts nor the prophesies fulfilled by Jesus.
The Atonement sacrifice is greater than the Passover sacrifice. So Jesus should have also been slaughtered on the 10th day of the 7th month.
Jesus become the sacrifice of all Feasts but for fulfillment of prophecy, he must be sacrificed on the 15th day of the 1st month
“Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.””
Galatians 3:13
“On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?””
Mark 14:12

- After entering Canaan they did not celebrate it and began worshiping idols.
- In the days of K. Josiah and K. Hezekiah, they kept the Passover again after being advised by prophets, and destroyed all the idols.
- After returning from Babylonian captivity, they built the temple and kept the Passover.
