Q

People insist that it was on the day of the Passover that Jesus was hung on the cross, saying he must be crucified on the day when the Passover Lamb was to be sacrificed. What 2 things does this prove these people have no idea? Explain why their insistence is wrong.

A

They neither know the Feasts nor the prophesies fulfilled by Jesus.

The Atonement sacrifice is greater than the Passover sacrifice. So Jesus should have also been slaughtered on the 10th day of the 7th month.

Jesus become the sacrifice of all Feasts but for fulfillment of prophecy, he must be sacrificed on the 15th day of the 1st month

In Revelation 18:1-3 it says “The earth was illuminated by his splendor.” The splendor in the light of the truth of the Passover through Jesus’ blood shed on the cross. Explain.

A

King Josiah had worshiped every demon and Baal for 18 years, not knowing Gods temple became a home for them. Once he kept the Passover, he immediately destroyed all of them. (2 Kings 23:1-7, 21-25)
