What is the modern prophet series?
For years we have been encouraged as members of the church, to learn more about the lives of the presidents of the church. This is the reason we have done this new series on the MODERN PROPHETS. This series uses live actors and actresses to depict highlights of each of the modern prophets lives. You’ll have to be careful because you’ll learn so much from watching the DVDs they will make you the teacher! (Play the Joseph Smith clip here). Wasn’t that awesome? What is the hero classic series?
Do you ever struggle with history? This next series is very popular among families because it depicts heroes from world history. This hero classic series contains stories like Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, George Washington, and Harriet Tubman. These movies not only show what they did, but the principles of faith and patriotism that made these men and women great! Each DVD focuses on a different principle like Lincoln’s honesty, Edison’s persistence and Florence Nightengales’ charity. (Share a favorite movie or story about one of the hero classic DVDs)
What is the Old Testament series?
Have you ever had a hard time with the Old Testament? Our next series is good for EVERYONE because let’s be honest, the Old Testament can be tough, especially for children. It has some of the best stories like David and Goliath, Moses, joseph, and Daniel in the lions den. (Tell a quick story about the Old Testament)
What is the New Testament series?
What are you’re favorite stories from the New Testament? No product will touch your kids hearts like the New Testament. In fact the first 12 were so popular we completed a second set! (Tell a story using the New Testament)
What is the Book of Mormon series?
Who is your favorite prophet From the Book of Mormon? This series begins with Nephi and the brass plates, and takes you all the way through the Book of Mormon, hitting the most important stories and ending with Mormon and Moroni. This also includes the first vision of Joseph Smith. (Tell a story about this set. Show the happy customers list. It’s exciting to see how many people are happily involved in the program.)
