What is split brain and give an example
Cannot name object on the left side of the brain but when closing their eyes are able to pick it up. If you have a pencil in the right side and an eraser on the left they will say they see the pencil but when closing their eyes they will pick up the eraser
What does the left brain do?
What does the right brain do?
Left- language, logistics, speech
Right- artistic, music, emotion, facial recognition
Muscle contraction and memory, disorder would be Alzheimer’s
Acetylcholine
Alertness, moody, violence, attentive. Its disease would be depression
Neurapinephine
Mood, appetite, violence is related to depression
Serotonin
Movement, reward, related with Parkinson’s disease and schizophrenia
Dopamine
Inhibitory neurotransmitter that calms down the activity in the nervous system. Related to epilepsy and Huntington’s
