- Age (men over 45 / women over 55).
- Family History - heart problems prior to 55
- High Blood Pressure - Greater or equal to 140/90
- Diabetes - the bodies inability to use insulin for sugar metabolism is impaired and unable to utilize sugar properly to sustain muscle function.
- Cholesterol Level - 200 or greater
- Obesity - BMI is 30% or higher.

- Chest Pains

What are the 3 Risk Stratifications
A
- Apparently Healthy (AH) -
Individuals who are asymptomatic and apparently healthy with no more than one major coronary risk factor
- Increased Risk (IR) -
Individuals who have signs or symptoms suggestive of possible cardiopul- monary or metabolic disease and/or two or more major coronary risk factors
- Known Disease (KD) -
Individuals with known cardiac, pulmonary, or metabolic disease.
