Full Faith & Credit Clause
Section of article 4 of the constitution that ensures judicial decrees and contracts made in one state will be binding and enforceable in any other state.
Concurrent Powers
- Exercised by BOTH state and federal gov’t.
* States powers only within their own boundaries.
Supremacy Clause
• Article VI, clause 2
Constitution and laws of the federal gov’t “shall be the supreme law of the land”
Federalism
System of government in which the national (central) gov’t and state (regional) gov’t share power and derive all authority from the people.
