When CAN you use RNAV as a substitute form of navigation?
To determine an aircraft position or distance from a VOR NAVAID

What is OBS/non sequencing mode?
Maintains the current waypoint indefinitely, instead of continuing the route sequence
What is the purpose of Baro-aiding?
Augments GPS integrity solution by using a non-satellite input source (Pitot-static system) for vertical reference. Can substitute a 5th satellite for RAIM
How are airways and route systems depicted on low enroute charts?
VHF/UHF is black
LF/MF is brown
RNAV is blue
What is tower enroute control service?
At some locations IFR flight can be controlled from the terminal enviorment. TEC routes are often for flights below 10,000 and found in the chart supplement. Put TEC in remarks
Are courses on low enroute charts true or magnetic?
Magnetic
What are Q and T routes?
RNAV routes
Q routes depicted on low enroute charts, RNAV routes from 1,200 - 18,000
T routes depicted on enroute high altitude charts, RNAV routes from 18,000 - FL 450
What does MON mean on a low enroute chart?
(displayed above airport name) That the VOR at the airport is part of the minimum operation network
