What’s Polygonal?
Irregularly angular shaped, with four or more sides.
What’s Stellate?
Starlike shape, the cell bodies of many nerves.
What’s Spheroid to ovoid?
Round to oval, like eggs or WBCs.
What’s Discoidal?
Disc-shaped, like RBCs.
What’s Fusiform?
Spindle-shaped; elongated with thick middle and tapered ends, as in smooth muscle cells.
What’s Fibrous?
Long, slender, and threadlike, as in skeletal muscle cells.
