Type
The difficulty or extortion level of your physical activity or exercise
Intensity
A breakdown or how often you need to work, how hard, the length of time per session, and the type of activity or exercise performed
Exercise Prescription
The number of times per week you engage in physical activity or exercise
Frequency
Exercises or activities that improve the efficiency of the hearts, lungs, blood, and blood vessels
Cardiovascular Conditioning
The duration of a single workout, usually measure in minutes or hours
Time
Measure of your ability to carry on a conversation while engaged on physical activity or exercise
Talk Test
Measure of how hard you feel your working during a physical activity or exercise
Perceived Exetertion
Number of times your heart beats per minute
Heart Rate
In order to improve your level of fitness, you must increase the amount of regular activity or exercise you normally do
Overload Principle
Fats that come mainly from animal fats, including butter and lard; often solid at room temperature
Saturated Fatty Acids
A type of compound the picks up excess cholesterol and returns it to the liver
HDL
Starches and sugars found in food
Carbohydrates
Fats that come mainly from plant sources; usually liquid at room temperature
